Powers on and plays correctly, the mechanism at the bottom that locks the cassette into place when the door shuts gets stuck in the up position causing the tape to get stuck in the down position. Plays perfectly, but you need to take the top casing off to manually eject the tape. Not sure what causes it, i read online it could either be the lubrication turned into almost glue like substance because of its age, or there is a belt for the eject mechanism on some of these older Sony cassette decks. If you try to get the tape out without removing the casing, you will break the cassette door.
